Sugar Pie Pumpkin

1863 American heirloom — THE standard pie pumpkin for 160+ years. Sweet, fine-grained, thick, stringless flesh superior to carving pumpkins for cooking. Makes 2-3 pies per pumpkin. 2-7 lbs (typically 4-6), round, slightly flattened. Some PM resistance noted. Each vine produces 4-8 fruits. Also works as small decorative jack-o'-lantern. Requires curing. Stores 2-3 months.
