Broccolini

Small florets on long, tender stems. After central crown harvest, SIDE SHOOTS are the main crop and continue 4+ weeks. Entire plant edible — stems, florets, leaves. More heat-tolerant than standard broccoli but less cold-tolerant. Hybrid of broccoli × Chinese broccoli (gai lan). Harvest stems at 6-8 inches before flowers open. Tighter spacing OK with steady fertility.
